04.24.06– Human Capital Executive Brad Nelson Joins Virtual Driver Interactive's Industry Advisory Board
(San Ramon, CA) - Virtual Driver Interactive (VDI), provider of driver improvement simulation systems for corporations and communities, today announced the appointment of Brad Nelson to its advisory board.
Nelson currently holds the position of director in the human capital practice of Deloitte Consulting, LLP and brings more than 20 years of experience of implementing programs affecting training, pay, benefits, expatriate remuneration, performance incentives, mass hiring, mass firing, surveys and other internal communication initiatives at a wide variety of client organizations.
Virtual Driver Interactive will rely on Nelson to help guide policy issues as well as provide counsel to the executive team. His expertise in conducting focus groups and employee and customer research will also be brought to bear.
“We are delighted to have Bradley share his vast knowledge of human capital best practices with our team,” said Bob Davis, CEO and president of Virtual Driver Interactive. “A human resources department is responsible for the productivity, motivation and retention of a company’s most valuable asset—its employees. Nothing is more devastating to those factors than losing employees or their loved ones from tragic consequences of an auto accident. As a senior human advisory for Deloitte Consulting, Brad recognizes the value VDI’s system can bring to a corporation.”
Previously, Nelson was a principal in the Paradigm Consulting Group, a firm that provides IT direction and solutions to government and private industry throughout North America. Prior to his position at Paradigm, Nelson was the president of Zabit & Associates, an Inc. 500 communication consulting company.
Nelson has completed major assignments for companies such as AirTouch Cellular Communications, Bank of America, Barclays Global Investors, British Petroleum p.l.c., Charles Schwab, Chevron, Farmers Group Insurance, Hewlett Packard, Mazda Motor Corporation, and Sun Microsystems—to name a few.
