Meet the VDI team
Bob Davis
Chief Executive Officer & President
Virtual Driver Interactive
Bob Davis, 50, is chief executive officer and president of Virtual Driver Interactive, Inc., a California Corporation.
His experience as a father of multiple teen drivers is as important as his 27 years of global experience in software and technology. Bob’s work experience provided him opportunities to live and work in infamous traffic areas such as Los Angeles, San Francisco and Atlanta and left him wondering, “How could technology provide valuable experience in dangerous situations without actually being in danger?" Everyone, not just teens, learn more effectively by "doing" than just listening or watching.
Prior to founding VDI, Bob held executive officer positions in a variety of organizations large and small including Sprint, iBEAM Broadcasting, Premenos Corporation and BellSouth.
Davis graduated from the University of Akron in 1981 with a BS in Business Administration and attended the Graduate School of Business Executive Program at Stanford. He is an avid golfer and tennis player as well as a committed "soccer dad" for his three children.

Our goal is to advance driver training by integrating simulation into a well-balanced Driver Education program that includes behind-the-wheel, classroom, behavior modification training and parental involvement. Van works with legislators, school administrators and parents to promote awareness of and funding for 21st century driver training.
Van has spent 20 years in corporate sales and marketing winning top awards in both disciplines from Fortune 500 companies. In addition to extensive business expertise, Van has served in leadership and teaching capacities for a number of civic and school organizations in her native Atlanta.
