Several news stories have recently been done on a father's goal to get more driver's training into schools in the state of Ohio.  Ray Sanderbeck lost his daugther in a car crash back in 2006.  He raised money to invest in two of VDI's full-cab simulators in order to provide more training to teens before getting behind the wheel.  Click on the links below view the different stories.

The American Society of Safety Engineer (ASSE) recently did an interview with Andre Luongo, VP of Virtual Driver Interactive on "Improving Safety Through Simulation-Based Driver Training."  It was in the CoPS SH&E Report, Volume 3, Number 1 which is a triannually published report.

Owens Corning Implements Virtual Driver Interactive Simulation System to Arm Employees with Life-Saving Defensive Driving Techniques

VDI's virtual driving instruction allows drivers to gain important insight and hands-on experience driving in potentially hazardous circumstances, essentially putting the driver in dangerous situations without actually putting them in danger.  Owens Corning employee, Barry Hornbacher, learned this first-hand and credits the VDI simulation course with saving his life.
