Drive to Save Lives – Join “Maria’s Ride” Event – September 16, 2018

It’s time to put an end to distracted driving and it starts with Maria’s Ride.

Join Central Ohio 10TV sports anchor, Dom Tiberi, for “Maria’s Ride” on Sunday, September 16th.  The event was created to honor Maria Tiberi’s life and raise money to purchase driving simulators to donate throughout Ohio.  To date, the Maria Tiberi Foundation has donated over 40 driving simulators in Ohio, Texas, Tennessee and Indiana showing teens first hand the devastating consequences of driving distracted.  The Tiberi’s are devoted to ensuring no one else has to endure the tragic loss of a loved one due to a lack of appropriate driver education.

“We want people to realize through these simulators what bad can happen and learn it in a safe environment. Don’t learn it on the highway,” Dom said. “We want to change habits.”

A procession of 300 cars will begin at Dublin Coffman High School and end at the Schottenstein Center on The Ohio State University campus.  You can sign up to participate in the drive or join a ‘virtual’ team and donate to the cause.  Virtual Driver Interactive has set up a team and our goal is to raise $5,000!  All you have to do is click here then go to the DONATE NOW button.  Before you select an amount to donate, credit your donation to our team –  Virtual Driver Interactive!  Join us in helping the Maria Tiberi Foundation raise money to eradicate the distracted driving epidemic in the state of Ohio and beyond.   To learn more, click here.
